‘Food for thought’ at Manchester Arndale

Manchester Arndale is set to launch its six-week summer food campaign, which offers hungry shoppers tempting discounts at their favourite places to eat.

The ‘Food for thought’ campaign entices consumers to dine at one of the centre’s many eateries by offering discounts. Running from 25 July until 31 August, shoppers can choose from over 24 offers which will be made available in a handy booklet or to download from the centre’s website.

The offer booklets will be distributed from Wintergarden Information Desk or from one of the customer experience team who will be walking the malls throughout the campaign.

Shoppers can take advantage of the money-saving offers from Druckers, Go, Spud-U-Like, Bagel Nash, Subway, McDonalds, Harry Ramsden’s, Sugacane, Coffee Break, Shakeaway,  Thorntons, Greggs, Bella Italia, Southern Eleven, Pizza Hut, Rowntrees, Rollers, Boots/Waitrose and Bhs.

Glen Barkworth, centre manager at Manchester Arndale said: “Everyone loves eating out, especially during the school summer holidays, so we have decided to bring back our popular food retailer offers for a second year running. We have one of the busiest foodcourts within the UK with a seating area for around 800 people. The ‘Food for thought’ offers have something for everyone and can be used in many of the cafés, restaurants, snack outlets and food retailers with in the centre.”

The ‘Food for thought’ advertising campaign is devised by Refinery Marketing Communications and draws-upon the current, ‘Whatever you’ve got in mind, we’ve got inside’ creative thought bubble used on all Manchester Arndale’s marketing activity.
