Investors in People gives Savills gold standard of approval
Published: 14 June, 2012
The commercial property management team at Savills has been awarded a gold standard Investors in People (IIP) award following a recent assessment.
Investors in People provides the framework for organisations to improve their business performance through the development of staff, in order to help them and the company to reach their personal and collective potential.
The gold standard represents achievement of world class best practice. To attain this level an organisation must achieve 126 requirements over and above the 39 required to reach the accreditation.
The IIP award is re-assessed every three years and Savills property management team was first awarded with an IIP Standard in 2009. For its most recent accreditation in February 2012, an assessor interviewed the property management divisional board at Savills as well as visiting six of its managed sites throughout the UK interviewing on-site staff as well as 20 team members in the Savills Manchester office.
Nicholas Herward, national head of property management at Savills, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded the gold standard in our latest IIP assessment, particularly as we are the only property management agency to hold it. The assessment is a long process that is carefully managed by Savills Training Solutions and this accreditation is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, commitment and meticulously high standards adopted by all members of the management team.”
