Pizza Express Restaurants agreed a 25-year lease on 3,000 sq ft at 50,000 pa. And Iceland Foods signed a 15-year lease 6,144 sq ft at 92,000pa. Iceland will open for trade on 4 March 2014 and Pizza Express will be open for Easter.

Daniel Hynd, project director of Neptune, said: "Since opening in late 2011, Marine Point has really established itself as a leading retail and leisure destination in the Wirral. Testament to this is the strong tenant line up it has attracted including Morrisons, Grosvenor Casino, Green King, Prezzo, Starbucks, La Tasca, Chimichanga and Loungers. Many of our operators have reported outstanding trading since opening, which further reinforces the strength of New Brighton."

Letting agents Savills and Mowbray Gill are marketing the three remaining units: two of 2,750 sq ft and one of 1,754 sq ft.

Neptune plans to start on site shortly with 24 apartments marking the final phase of the New Brighton masterplan.
