Shopping Centre
intu Derby’s dining offer heats up
Published:  08 April, 2015

Italian restaurant Zizzi has exchanged on a 3,000-sq ft unit, due to open this summer

The deal follows the opening of Byron Burger and Joe’s Kitchen which both exchanged earlier this year and are due to open this spring. Enhancing intu Derby’s dining choices forms part of the landlord’s plans to create a compelling shopping experience which offers a blend of retail, dining and leisure.

Martin Breeden, regional director of intu, said: “We have been very pleased with the performance of catering within the centre and the strength of demand for new restaurants. We have got 25 million visitors per year so we are very confident that Zizzi, Byron Burger and Joe’s Kitchen will all trade well at intu Derby. These brands give customers a reason to visit us more often and stay longer, which in turn helps our shops and restaurants to flourish.”

Central Retail and FHP acted on behalf of intu, and JLL acted on behalf of Zizzi.
