Hammerson announces four more lettings ahead of Thursday’s opening

Hammerson has secured four new aspirational brands for its £165m Victoria Gate development, which will open its doors to the public this Thursday October 20. Cath Kidston, Bailey Nelson, Ghost and Diverso and are set to join the retail and restaurant line up at the scheme.

Cath Kidston is to open a new 1,030-sq ft while London-based fashion house Ghost will trade from 860 sq ft. Eyewear specialist Bailey Nelson and menswear brand Diverso are both taking 650-sq ft units.

The new additions join the already dynamic mix of premium retailers and restaurants, including Le Pain Quotidien, Neom Organics, Hackett, Tommy Hilfiger, Anthropologie, GANT, Calvin Klein, and international restaurant group D&D. Together with Victoria Quarter, the new 575,000-sq ft Victoria Leeds estate will create an indulgent retail and leisure destination for the North.

Robin Dobson, director of retail development at Hammerson said: “With only a few days to go until Victoria Gate opens, Cath Kidston, Bailey Nelson, Diverso and Ghost are all exciting additions which will soon propel Leeds to the third top ranking shopping destination outside of London.”
