Whitefriars welcomes Billís and Metro Bank

Restaurant chain and banking group join Canterbury shopping centre line up

TH Real Estate has further expanded its offering at Whitefriars, Canterbury with the announcement of two new lettings at the centre: Billís Restaurant and Metro Bank. Following fit outs of both units, both Billís Restaurant and Metro Bank are aiming to open in the second half of 2017.

Billís Restaurant, which has nearly 80 restaurants around the UK, will take a 3,520 sq ft unit on Rose Lane on a 20-year lease. †Metro Bank will be opening its first Canterbury store in a 10,000-sq ft unit.

Lunson Mitchenall and MMX Retail are the joint leasing agents for Whitefriars Canterbury. Teague Capital acted for Billís Restaurant and Cushman and Wakefield acted for Metro Bank.
