The outlet operator reported that 22 new store openings have been secured across Gloucester Quays and Lowry Outlet for the calendar year-to-date, comprising of 100,000 sq ft of retail space, delivering record trading.
The two centres have increased total visitor numbers by 46 per cent since January 2013 with a raft of new brands such as Clarks, Next, Bench, Brewhouse & Kitchen and more. Gloucester Quays has seen rapid growth with expanded dining and retail sectors; recent openings include Jaeger, Fat Face, Bill’s and Carluccio’s and it is also the first outlet centre to sign luxury heritage shoe brand Tricker’s.
Lowry Outlet continues to perform strongly as it grows its retail and leisure offering and has just opened its 11,000 sq ft new Next Outlet store, which joins other new signings including Clarks shoes. The outlet also revealed the results of a £4.5million investment in its Virgin Active Health Club in October this year.
