Blackrock Shopping Centre, south Dublin, continues to attract top tenants. Women’s fashion specialist Lisa Perkins has taken over an extensive 3,000-sq ft outlet, previously occupied by Mothercare, at a rent of around €100,000 per annum.
Also preparing to move in is the Vanilla Pod restaurant which will be paying around €50,000 for 1,500-sq ft on the lower level. The restaurant group opened its first outlet in Carrickmines in 2011.
Esquires, the gourmet coffee house expanding rapidly in Dublin, is understood to have agreed a rent of €30,000 for a 391-sq ft unit.
Lastly, Mobile Fix, which handles sales of phones and tablets as well as accessories, joins the line up.
The recent wavw of letting in the Blackrock centre has meant that it now has only two vacant units of 600-sq ft and 1,200-sq ft, both marketed by Mervyn Ellis of BNP Paribas Real Estate and Daragh Cronin of Savills.
