The Standard Life Investments Pooled Property Pension Fund has added two local businesses to the line-up at Parkway shopping centre in Newbury. Dapper Street, a menswear retailer that specialises in designer labels and streetwear, and The Unruly, a barber and lifestyle store have both opened at the centre. The two new names join high profile brands such as Jack Wills, John Lewis at Home, Superdry, Jigsaw and Mint Velvet.
Dapper Street has taken a 2,600-sq ft unit at the centre on a five year lease for its fourth branch. The Unruly is taking a five-year lease on a 341-sq ft unit that combines a lifestyle and fashion store with a barbershop.
Fund manager David Stewart said: “Both The Unruly and Dapper Street are fashion-focused stores and will boost the centre’s reputation as a fashion and lifestyle destination for Berkshire.”
Standard Life was advised by Strutt & Parker and Lunson Mitchenall.
